Jones grew up with a poor and difficult life being the daughter of a single mother who had five other children. Her mother was constantly changing her location and she was a resident within the basement. Jones' nomadic lifestyle made her change schools every year until high school. In Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones was separated from her mother to pursue her passion for the track and field events. She lived at four different homes during her time in high school so that she could study all at one time. Jones was awarded her Gatorade track and field Athlete-of-the Year award while at high school. As a student cellist, Jones was also part of the school's orchestra. Jones was one of the college's most skilled hurdlers following her entry into. In 2002, she was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles during the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she participated on the runner up team for 100-meters relay. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles event in the years 2003 and in 2004. Jones began her track career in 2005 after she graduated from university. In the same year, she won her first Torino Memorial event, and in the year 2206 she took home the Ostrava track event, as and the Heusden track race.

Lesley Ann Brandt was born on December 2, in Cape Town in South Africa. She is an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved along with her family and friends into Auckland New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland Brandt's first job, she was a salesperson and then was made an IT expert. After a few modelling projects, Lesley appeared in many commercials. She graduated with a major in acting in 2008. In 2009 she began studying in Meisner Methods of Study. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's television drama Shortland Street.
